The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jashari pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Grzyb counters with a single leg into guard. Jashari didn't expect that.

Grzyb sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jashari's guard.

Grzyb passes to side control.

Grzyb is trying to get an arm triangle but Jashari is defending well.
Jashari tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Grzyb wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
You can see the frustration on Jashari's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Grzyb connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Jashari some visible discomfort.

Grzyb is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jashari defends it well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Grzyb lands a nice short elbow.

Grzyb seems to be working for a kimura but Jashari defends the submission attempt.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Grzyb connects with a nice short shot to Jashari's temple.

Grzyb is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jashari is just riding it out for now. Grzyb eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Grzyb thows a huge punch but Jashari dodges it nicely.
Jashari is trying to maintain the position but Grzyb is very close to passing his half guard.

Grzyb is stalling here. Jashari is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Grzyb seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Jashari has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Grzyb shoots for a takedown but Jashari saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

A head kick by Jashari - that's a beauty! Grzyb is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Jashari can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
