Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shamil Zavurov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Jorgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hugh Jorgan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zavurov falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jorgan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Zavurov walks into a left hand.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Zavurov.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jorgan can't do much from the bottom here.
Jorgan gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Jorgan is looking to control Zavurov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jorgan avoid being mounted?
Zavurov is looking to stall here but Jorgan recovers full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Zavurov tries to lock up and control but Jorgan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Zavurov holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Jorgan tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Zavurov is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Jorgan misses with a head shot.
Zavurov is squirming around, avoiding Jorgan's attempts to control the action.

The referee warns Zavurov that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Zavurov wants to hold on but Jorgan pushes him away.
Zavurov is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jorgan thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Jorgan is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Zavurov to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Zavurov shrugs it off.

That's time! Zavurov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Zavurov takes a kick to the side of the head.
Zavurov drops his hands momentarily and Jorgan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Jorgan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Zavurov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zavurov takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Zavurov on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Zavurov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Jorgan drops Zavurov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Zavurov looks back up at him and smiles so Jorgan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Zavurov is rocked!
Jorgan lands a brutal uppercut that launches Zavurov off his feet! Zavurov tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
