The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Bastos holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Bastos has hold of one of Belfort's legs. Belfort is fighting the takedown attempt but Bastos gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Bastos lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Bastos drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bastos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Bastos drops back looking for a leg! Belfort is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Belfort manages to kick Bastos off! Bastos jumps back into Belfort's guard.

Bastos tries to free his leg and advance position but Belfort is retaining full guard.

Bastos drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Bastos seems to have locked his on tight now - Belfort screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Bastos, as he picks up the win!
