The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toulon slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A jab from Toulon misses.
Toulon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Toulon pinned against the cage. Toulon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Andre Toulon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randsome Gracie.
Gracie drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Toulon throws a lazy right hand but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gracie shoots in but Toulon avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Toulon looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.

Toulon lands with a shot to the body.

Toulon moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Gracie goes down! Can Toulon finish him!?

It looks like Randsome Gracie has been cut.
Gracie looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Toulon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gracie is proving hard to escape from.

Toulon gets to his feet - Gracie follows without any prompting.
Toulon throws a hook but Gracie avoids it easily.
