The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payne uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fredriksson has time to react.
Fredriksson tries for a takedown but Payne circles away easily
letting Payne counter with a right hand.
Fredriksson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Payne scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Payne throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fredriksson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Payne finds it's way round the side to connect with Fredriksson's head.
Fredriksson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Payne connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Payne scores with a jab to the body.
Payne misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fredriksson.
Fredriksson slips a straight right by Payne.

letting Payne counter with a right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Fredriksson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Payne takes a swing at Fredriksson's ribcage but misses.

Payne misses with a few strikes there.
Payne scores with a hook to the body. Fredriksson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Fredriksson is breathing heavily.
Payne scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fredriksson in his tracks.
Payne lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Payne paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Payne connects with a right hand. Fredriksson shakes it off.

Fredriksson is rocked!
Payne throws a body punch but Fredriksson moves out of range.
Fredriksson ducks into an uppercut from Payne and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
