Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osvalde Ovale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franco Colombo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colombo misses with a straight right.

Ovale clinches.
Colombo has Ovale pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ovale manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Ovale lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Ovale jumps guard.
Ovale has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Ovale bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Colombo's guard.

Ovale is looking to work some ground and pound but Colombo has wrist control.

Colombo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ovale controls the pace.
Ovale's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Osvalde Ovale.
Ovale blocks a head kick by Colombo.
Colombo throws a sloppy head kick and Ovale moves out of range easily.

Colombo gets caught napping as Ovale dives in and scores a takedown. Colombo manages to retain guard.
Ovale stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Colombo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Colombo wants to sweep but no luck.
Ovale lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Colombo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ovale. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Colombo is working an open guard so Ovale takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Franco Colombo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Colombo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Colombo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Colombo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Osvalde Ovale has been cut.
