Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Raymore Ardonia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitriy Kosarev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ardonia takes a swing at Kosarev's ribcage but misses.
Kosarev shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ardonia pinned against the cage. Ardonia gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ardonia looks to land a combination but Kosarev avoids it well.

Kosarev shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ardonia's guard.
Kosarev is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kosarev looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ardonia is fending him off so far but Kosarev persists. Nope, Ardonia circles away and we're back to standing.

Kosarev closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ardonia's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kosarev cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Ardonia paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Dmitriy Kosarev has been cut.

Kosarev fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ardonia sprawls well initially but Kosarev persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Ardonia is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kosarev's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kosarev's back!
Ardonia gets his hands free as Kosarev looks to control.
Ardonia knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kosarev on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ardonia looking to break Kosarev's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Kosarev remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ardonia will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kosarev drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ardonia manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kosarev has Ardonia in his guard.

Kosarev moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kosarev dives in and grabs Ardonia's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ardonia pushes down on Kosarev's head and hops out.
Ardonia lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kosarev circles away quickly and effectively.
Ardonia throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kosarev.

Kosarev slips a jab and a cross from Ardonia.
