The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

S gets caught napping as Abu dives in and scores a takedown. S manages to retain guard.
Abu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. S swivels though and keeps the full guard.
S avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Abu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as S works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Abu advances position into side control!

Abu thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Abu working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
S takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
S wants to control but Abu postures up.
Abu advances to mount.
S is looking to get to half guard.
Abu is in the full mount, landing strikes.
S is desperately trying to improve his position but Abu has a good base and remains in mount.
S regains half guard.

S looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
