Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Patryk Patryk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orange Blue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blue thows a leg kick but Patryk checks it
and Patryk counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Blue throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fight stays on the outside here - Patryk looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Blue throws a looping overhand right but Patryk ducks down to avoid it.
Blue tries to bum rush Patryk with a series of wild strikes but Patryk uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Patryk fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Patryk creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Blue sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Blue is looking to regain half guard here but Patryk keeps moving and retains side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
