Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Darque Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frodo Baggs!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baggs throws a body punch but Knight moves out of range.
Baggs misses with a double jab.
Knight shoots for a takedown but Baggs saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Frodo Baggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knight will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A jab from Baggs does it's job there.
Baggs falls off balance throwing a combination

and Knight counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Baggs looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Knight wants to work for an arm triangle but Baggs is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Knight thows a huge punch but Baggs dodges it nicely.

Baggs is defending against the submission attempts here by Knight.
Knight wants to take a breather but Baggs is having none of it.
Knight lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Knight is looking for submissions but instead, Baggs has regained full guard.
Baggs is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Knight is controlling him.
Knight trying to control the position from guard on top but Baggs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Baggs utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Knight loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Baggs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knight. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Knight prevents Baggs from getting back to his feet.
Knight is working Baggs over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Baggs wants to get back to his feet but Knight passes into half guard.
Knight looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Knight is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Baggs is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
