The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Podogo tries a head kick but it misses.
Dan misses the shot to the body.
Dan throws a predictable looking body shot
and Podogo counters with a head kick. That will keep Dan thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

letting Dan counter with a right hand.
Podogo misses with a head kick.
A clash of legs there as Dan blocks the low kick.
Dan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Podogo circles away quickly and effectively.

Podogo connects with a solid leg kick.
Podogo tries a head kick but it misses.
Dan blocks a head kick by Podogo.
Podogo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Podogo thinking.

and Dan counters with a right hand to the body.
Srichan Dan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leandro Podogo.
Dan lands a slapping body shot.
Podogo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Podogo looks gassed!

Dan throws a series of punches but Podogo moves out of range.

Leandro Podogo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dan moves into range and clinches up with Podogo.
Dan is leaning against Podogo and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Podogo is trying to maintain a safe position but Dan gets an underhook and turns Podogo into the cage.

Podogo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Podogo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Dan tries to stand but Podogo is controlling from the bottom.

Podogo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Dan frees his head nicely. Oh but Podogo has switched to an armbar! Dan is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
