Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stevie Bu Jeevy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rauta Vaara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bu Jeevy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vaara was covering up waiting for the punch and Bu Jeevy finishes the takedown easily into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Vaara is pushing down on Bu Jeevy's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bu Jeevy is fighting to maintain full guard but Vaara has managed to sneak the leg through.
Vaara is just content to waste time from the top position. Bu Jeevy takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Bu Jeevy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Vaara tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bu Jeevy is in Vaara's guard.

Vaara bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Vaara tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vaara has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Vaara wants to work for an arm triangle but Bu Jeevy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bu Jeevy keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Vaara jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bu Jeevy is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bu Jeevy and Vaara has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Vaara rushes Bu Jeevy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Vaara has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bu Jeevy regains guard immediately.

Vaara drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bu Jeevy dives on top into guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rauta Vaara hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Well Vaara has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
