Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Clovis Alfred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanamichi Hanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanzo has chosen Sarah Brightman - Fleurs du Mal as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Hanamichi Hanzo enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Clovis Alfred!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alfred shoots in and drives through. Hanzo sprawls well.
Alfred misses with a takedown attempt - Hanzo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Alfred avoids the body shot from Hanzo.
Hanzo tries to work over Alfred's front leg with a kick but Alfred checks it.
Alfred shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hanzo as he avoids it easily.

Alfred shoots in and bounces Hanzo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alfred wants to control from the top but Hanzo keeps moving.

Alfred lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Alfred sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hanzo's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alfred passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hanzo!

Alfred jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hanzo manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Alfred tries to control but Hanzo wriggling away.
Alfred sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Alfred has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hanzo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Alfred shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hanzo but Hanzo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Alfred is defended easily by Hanzo.
Hanzo misses with a wild combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hanamichi Hanzo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Alfred on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Alfred counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hanzo's guard now.
Alfred pushes down on Hanzo's leg and manages to get into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hanzo won't allow Alfred to pass to mount.

Alfred passes to side control.
Alfred scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Hanzo to see if he's OK.
Hanzo is trying to escape the position but Alfred is controlling the position.
Hanzo is not content to let Alfred control the position.

Alfred is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hanzo has escaped the position, nice work there.
Alfred is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hanzo's shoulder. That is not cool.

Hanzo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alfred. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hanzo takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Hanzo is trying to work for a sweep but Alfred has mounted him!

Alfred jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hanzo manages to avoid the submission attempt.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Hanzo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Alfred.
Alfred misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Alfred throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hanzo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Alfred is in Hanzo's guard.
Hanzo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hanzo can do anything to dispel that myth.
Alfred passes Hanzo's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Hanzo wants to get back to full guard but Alfred has passed into side control.
