Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Juliano Vongkhamchanh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tai Stick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stick is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Samoa Island National Anthem. Tai Stick will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Juliano Vongkhamchanh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tai Stick!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vongkhamchanh gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Stick takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Vongkhamchanh thumps Stick with a low kick.
Stick closes the distance but Vongkhamchanh moves to the side
letting Vongkhamchanh counter with a right hand.
Stick throws a head kick but Vongkhamchanh moves out of range.

Vongkhamchanh has taken the fight to the clinch.

Stick is trying to trip Vongkhamchanh. He has hold of a leg but Vongkhamchanh is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Stick persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stick postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Vongkhamchanh is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Stick, into his guard.
Vongkhamchanh loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Vongkhamchanh drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vongkhamchanh jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Vongkhamchanh stands up over Stick, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Stick is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vongkhamchanh defends well.
Vongkhamchanh cracks Stick with a solid left hand.
Vongkhamchanh lands a couple of elbows.
Vongkhamchanh with a nice head shot there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Vongkhamchanh is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Stick really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vongkhamchanh. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vongkhamchanh makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Vongkhamchanh wants to control from the top but Stick keeps moving.
Vongkhamchanh scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Vongkhamchanh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Stick working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Vongkhamchanh has passed into half guard!
Vongkhamchanh lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Stick is rocked!
Vongkhamchanh is nestled in close to Stick, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Stick is still in real trouble! Can Vongkhamchanh finish him?
Stick has hold of Vongkhamchanh's hands but Vongkhamchanh slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Vongkhamchanh lands a big elbow - Stick is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Vongkhamchanh!
