Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dalern Hardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Mayweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayweather throws a jab when Hardt was well out of range.
Mayweather looks to throw the jab but Hardt is out of range.
Mayweather misses with a left hand

so Hardt counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hardt throwing strikes from guard but Mayweather blocks nicely.
Hardt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mayweather swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hardt trying to control the position from guard on top but Mayweather is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mayweather looking for a sweep. Not yet Mayweather, not yet.

Hardt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hardt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hardt is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mayweather is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mayweather has escaped and now he's on top!

Hardt has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mayweather can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hardt is on top in guard.

Hardt is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hardt passes Mayweather's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Hardt looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hardt is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hardt wants to work for an arm triangle but Mayweather is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Hardt is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mayweather doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hardt.
Mayweather really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hardt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hardt is looking to stall here but Mayweather recovers full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
