Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tiger Mask (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kent Miles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mask's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jucifer's--"Amplifier". Miles comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ready To Go by Republica kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tiger Mask!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kent Miles!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mask throws a head kick that half lands.
Mask tries to score a power double leg takedown but Miles sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mask somewhat.
Mask throws a leg kick
and Miles counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mask blocks a jab.
Mask misses with a combination

and Miles counters with a single leg into guard. Mask didn't expect that.
Miles wants to pass the guard but Mask is keeping the position.
Miles wants to control from the top but Mask keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mask pulls Miles in to control the position.
Miles preventing the sweep.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mask throws a lazy uppercut

and Miles decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mask's guard.
Mask is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Mask wants to sweep but no luck.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Miles throws and elbow that misses. Mask uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Miles's guard. Nice move by Mask!
Mask is looking to work some ground and pound but Miles has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mask throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Mask throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Miles works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Miles utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Mask throws a big right hand that misses.
Miles has control of Mask's left arm, preventing Mask from doing any damage.

Mask missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Miles lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mask!
Mask tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Miles controlling the position easily from mount.
Miles misses with a head shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Miles sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Mask avoids a series of strikes thrown by Miles.
A nice elbow there by Miles.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kent Miles dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Mask throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A big right from Miles misses.
Miles fails with the takedown
and Mask makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Miles misses with a takedown
and Mask counters with a stiff right hand.
Mask with a poor takedown

and Miles counters with a takedown into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mask tries to buck Miles off but Miles is having none of it.
Mask being controlled for a moment.
Mask prevents Miles from moving into mount.
Miles is working Mask over with some ground and pound from side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mask trying to remain calm as Miles controls from the top position.
Mask is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Miles has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Miles trying to control the action but Mask is working from the bottom.
Mask manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Mask missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Mask is working for a kimura but Miles is defending it quite comfortably.
Mask lands strikes from half guard.
Mask sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Miles defending well though.
Mask is trying to control the action in half guard but Miles is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mask lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Miles is staying active underneath Mask, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Mask is stalling here. Miles is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Mask seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Miles has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Miles wants to control but Mask is keeping him busy.
Miles wants to control for a moment but Mask uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Miles wants to take a breather but Mask is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tiger Mask will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Miles has his takedown stuffed

and Mask counters with a shoot takedown. Miles fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miles manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Miles looking to control but Mask is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Mask is looking to get to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mask is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Mask wants to try and get back to his feet.
Mask regains half guard.
Mask wants to control but Miles is keeping busy and won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Mask swings widly with a right hand

and Miles counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mask!
Mask is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kent Miles has got the better of the ground game so far.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Miles throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Mask is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Miles controlling from the full mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Miles trying to control but Mask is having none of it.
Miles lands a big elbow.
Mask is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kent Miles comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Miles has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
