Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Long has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, David Long!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gary Steel!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel shoots in for a double leg but Long sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Steel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gary Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Long throws a series of strikes that have Steel backpedaling.
Steel fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
David Long has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Steel.
Steel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Long tries to avoid it but Steel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Long to the ground. Long escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Steel on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Long. Long obviously looking to wear him down.
Long bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Steel's head backwards.
Long works the jab nicely.
Steel shoots in but no luck this time.
Steel shoots in looking for a takedown but Long manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Steel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Horrible takedown by Steel or perhaps it was just good defense by Long which made him look bad.
Steel misses with an uppercut
and Long counters with a two punch combo.
Nice sprawl there from Long as Steel shoots in.
Steel looks gassed!
Long lands with a hook. Steel tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Steel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Long as he avoids it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Steel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Long misses with an uppercut. Steel saw that one coming.
Steel shoots for a double leg takedown but Long sprawls well. He's pushed Steel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Long leaves Steel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Long works the jab nicely.
Long connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Steel's hands.
Steel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Long defends it nicely.
Nice uppercut lands for Long. That snapped Steel's head back.
Steel is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Steel is trying desperately to land a takedown but Long is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Steel.
Steel tries to move into range but Long moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Steel is rocked!
Long punishes Steel's body with a nice straight punch.
Steel is still on wobbly legs! Can Long finish him?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Steel looks up at the clock. Bad move! Long lands a right hand from hell, dropping Steel. Long pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
