Black's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, forever. The crowd seem to be enjoying Liddell's choice of entrance music: Rza - Fatal. Erkki Black could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lyoto Liddell's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Black was well out of range. Poor timing from Liddell.
Black fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Liddell manages to avoid it.
Black misses with a double jab
and Liddell counters with a leg kick.

and Liddell counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Black is breathing heavily.
Liddell throws a leg kick which misses Black's front leg but catches the back leg as Black tries to avoid it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Liddell. Black shrugs it off though.

Liddell takes the fight into the clinch.
Liddell putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Black in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Liddell lands an elbow just above Black 's eye.

It looks like Erkki Black has been cut.
Liddell lands a good knee to the midsection. Black won't want to take too many of those.
Liddell stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Liddell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Liddell cracks Black with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Liddell has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Black to stand back up!

Oh Black is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Erkki Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Liddell throws a nice outside leg kick.
Black drops his hands momentarily and Liddell needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Black just on the top of the head. Black drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Black - he's done!
