Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rapid Fire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Sams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Will Sams told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Will Sams!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sams looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fire takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Rapid Fire has been cut.
Fire leaves Sams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sams throws a leg kick
and Fire counters with an outside leg kick.
Sams throws a right and a left that Fire avoids nicely.
A slapping body kick lands there for Fire.
Fire scores with a kick to the body.
Sams looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fire with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sams takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
The fighters circle, before Fire throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Sams's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Fire lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Rapid Fire!
