The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Eriksson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Oliveira tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Eriksson was well out of range. Poor timing from Oliveira.
Eriksson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Eriksson throws a sloppy head kick and Oliveira moves out of range easily.
Eriksson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Oliveira.
Nice uppercut there from Oliveira.
Oliveira will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Eriksson darts in and clinches Oliveira up against the cage.

Eriksson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Eriksson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Oliveira misses with a two punch combination.
Eriksson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Oliveira checks it well.

Oliveira tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Oliveira swings wildly with an uppercut but Eriksson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Eriksson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Oliveira checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Eriksson throws a right hand that Oliveira ducks under and follows up with a left that Oliveira also avoids with ease.

Eriksson lands a big head kick that sends Oliveira tumbling to the mat! Eriksson takes a step backwards and waves Oliveira back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oliveira is still on wobbly legs! Can Eriksson finish him?

It looks like Gustavo Oliveira has been cut.

Eriksson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Oliveira moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
