The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stolbov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Ednaldo dos Santos has been cut.

Stolbov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for dos Santos on the ground.
Stolbov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of dos Santos's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take dos Santos's back!
Stolbov punches the canvas rather than the man.
dos Santos is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Stolbov off. It looks like it's working - Stolbov slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! dos Santos displaying calm under pressure there.
Stolbov is looking to clinch but dos Santos is avoiding it.
Vlad Stolbov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Stolbov.
Stolbov misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
