Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Piston Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Rugowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Honda comes to the cage accompanied by I've got no money in my pocket. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rugowski throws a wild body kick that Honda sees coming a mile off.
Rugowski misses with an uppercut
enabling Honda to counter with a crisp jab.
Honda tries to clinch but Rugowski moves out of range.
Rugowski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rugowski throws a right hand that misses
and Honda counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rugowski walks into a left hand.
Honda bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rugowski misses with a right hand
letting Honda counter with a right hand.
It looks like Bubba Rugowski has been cut.
Rugowski lands a nice shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rugowski throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Rugowski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rugowski misses with a kick to the body.
Rugowski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Honda.
Jab, jab by Rugowski - just one landing.
It looks like Piston Honda has been cut.
Rugowski throws a head kick but Honda moves out of range.

and Honda cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rugowski misses with a wild body shot.
Rugowski throws a good cross that connects.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rugowski lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Honda backs up against the cage.
Rugowski misses with a hook
and Honda connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Honda throws the left hand but Rugowski avoids the punch easily.

Rugowski gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Honda misses the shot to the body.
Rugowski throws a lazy uppercut
and Honda counters with a stiff right hand.
Honda is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Honda lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rugowski rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Honda counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rugowski does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Rugowski throws a push kick but Honda slaps the foot to one side.
Honda falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rugowski counters with a three punch combo that has Honda backing up. Honda nods at Rugowski to acknowledge the strikes.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Honda moves into the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A nice right hand lands inside from Honda.
Rugowski is trying to break the clinch but Honda is controlling him.
Rugowski wants to break free but Honda has control.
Honda lands a body punch in the clinch.
Rugowski looks gassed!
Honda lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rugowski backwards.
Rugowski has had enough of the clinch but Honda keeps him there for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Piston Honda dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Honda closes the distance and pushes Rugowski back into the cage.

Honda fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Honda presses Rugowski against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
A left hand lands to the body for Honda.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Rugowski is still on wobbly legs! Can Honda finish him?
Honda creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Rugowski's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Rugowski drops to his knees and Honda pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Piston Honda!
