The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gapuz gets the takedown into side control.
Khan taking a bit of punishment here - Gapuz scoring with strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Khan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gapuz defends it well.
Gapuz makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gapuz.
Khan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gapuz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Khan looks gassed!
Khan is pushing down on Gapuz's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gapuz is fighting to maintain full guard but Khan has managed to sneak the leg through.
Gapuz is trying to get back to full guard.
Gapuz flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Khan is looking for a kimura but Gapuz is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Khan to get the leverage.
Gapuz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Khan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Khan's back!
Khan tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
The referee warns Khan that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
BOOM! Gapuz connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Khan is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Gapuz pulls his head out easily.
Khan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Khan has his feet on Gapuz's thighs here. He's pushed Gapuz off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Gapuz screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
