Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mark Bocek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Mckormick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mckormick has chosen Swedish House Mafia - Save The World as his entrance music. Mark Bocek had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckormick ducks under a wild hook from Bocek.
Mckormick with a poor takedown
and Bocek counters with a nice body kick.
Bocek misses with a takedown attempt

and Mckormick counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Mckormick looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bocek with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Mckormick thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bocek knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mckormick on the ground.

Mckormick postures up in Bocek's guard and throws a big left but Bocek blocks it.
Mckormick prevents Bocek from getting back to his feet.
Mckormick has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mckormick stands up over Bocek, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mckormick throws a big right hand that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mckormick accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bocek is breathing heavily.
Mckormick works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Mckormick is nestled in close to Bocek, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Mckormick prevents Bocek from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mckormick is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bocek defends it well.

Bocek is looking for a sweep. Mckormick is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Mckormick is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bocek is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
