Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mattias Grabowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis DeYoung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grabowski comes to the cage accompanied by Forever by Throwdown. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grabowski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. DeYoung manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Grabowski shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in DeYoung's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
DeYoung keeping moving, preventing Grabowski from controlling successfully.

Grabowski cracks DeYoung with a big right hand but DeYoung just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

DeYoung tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
DeYoung drops down looking for an ankle pick but Grabowski pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mattias Grabowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis DeYoung.

DeYoung has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Grabowski is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Grabowski tries to break free but DeYoung pushes him back against the cage.

DeYoung creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

DeYoung's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Grabowski throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. DeYoung was covering up waiting for the punch and Grabowski finishes the takedown easily into guard.

DeYoung wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Grabowski uses the opportunity to regain full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mattias Grabowski.
Well Grabowski has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
