Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Deathstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Pemberton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andreas Deathstar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Scott Pemberton!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Deathstar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Pemberton is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Deathstar asserts his dominance and retains side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Deathstar has control of Pemberton's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Pemberton regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Deathstar is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Deathstar extends the arm and Pemberton is forced to tap!
