The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dai shoots in and bounces Finalizador off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Finalizador doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Finalizador pulls Dai in close to prevent any damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dai accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Finalizador has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dai is looking to work some ground and pound but Finalizador has wrist control.

Finalizador working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dai doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dai manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dai manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Finalizador manages to get himself to full guard.

Dai is sitting in close to Finalizador's body. Finalizador has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Dai is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Dai is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Finalizador.
