PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Key (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killa Watts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters had to take extra time to make weight as they missed the initial 170lb limit. John Key came in at 172.4 and Killa Watts came in at 172.7 but after the extra two hours, both guys managed to get within the one pound allowance. No doubt it will have affected them physically though, so let's see if that has an impact on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Key misses with the combination.
Key looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Watts lands a head kick!

It looks like John Key has been cut.
Watts lands a slapping body shot.

Watts feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Watts drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Watts seems to have locked his on tight now - Key screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Watts, as he picks up the win!
