Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Shinobi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hezekiah Stoltfus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stoltfus has chosen The Chase as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hezekiah Stoltfus!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoltfus misses with a lunging right hand
letting Shinobi counter with a right hand.
Stoltfus tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shinobi swivels and escapes.
Shinobi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shinobi leaves Stoltfus with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Shinobi ducks under a wild hook from Stoltfus.
Shinobi feints and then cracks Stoltfus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stoltfus down.

Shinobi misses with a wild body shot.

Shinobi throws a looping overhand right but Stoltfus ducks down to avoid it.

and Shinobi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Shinobi lands a big head kick that sends Stoltfus tumbling to the mat! Shinobi takes a step backwards and waves Stoltfus back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Hezekiah Stoltfus has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stoltfus lands a lovely overhand right.
Stoltfus takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Shinobi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Shinobi throws a right and a left that both miss.
Shinobi tries to land a leg kick but Stoltfus saw it coming and moves away.
Shinobi is looking to slow Stoltfus down with leg kicks.
Shinobi misses with the combination.
Stoltfus scores with a crisp jab that stopped Shinobi in his tracks.
Stoltfus avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hezekiah Stoltfus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Stoltfus. Those never looked like landing.
A nice leg kick lands there from Shinobi.
Shinobi tries a head kick but it misses.

Shinobi's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Shinobi duly obliges.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stoltfus chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Shinobi can pounce on him.
Shinobi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Stoltfus fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That kick from Shinobi tenderised Stoltfus's leg. Stoltfus is trying to keep his angry face on.
Stoltfus looks gassed!
Stoltfus misses with a wild body shot.
Shinobi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Stoltfus crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Shinobi - the referee stops the clock and Stoltfus gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Shinobi. Stoltfus manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Shinobi digs a good hook to Stoltfus's body.
Stoltfus takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Shinobi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Stoltfus's head backwards.
Shinobi is looking to wear down Stoltfus with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Shinobi scores with a leg kick.

Stoltfus blocks a head kick by Shinobi.
Shinobi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Shinobi jabs at Stoltfus's body.
Shinobi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Shinobi throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stoltfus throws an off balance right hand
and Shinobi counters with a three punch combo that has Stoltfus backing up. Stoltfus nods at Shinobi to acknowledge the strikes.
Stoltfus gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Shinobi lands a jab.
Shinobi throws a half hearted mid kick.

Stoltfus closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stoltfus lands in his opponent's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stoltfus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Shinobi is keeping the position for now.

Shinobi is trying to control the position but Stoltfus postures up.
Stoltfus trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Stoltfus trying to control the position from guard on top but Shinobi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Stoltfus drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stoltfus jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Shinobi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stoltfus is one step ahead there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Stoltfus throws a sloppy head kick
and Shinobi counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Shinobi tries to land a front kick but Stoltfus steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Shinobi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stoltfus can do to turn this around?
Shinobi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stoltfus manages to avoid it.
Stoltfus lands with a nice body punch.
Stoltfus misses with an uppercut
and Shinobi counters with an inside leg kick.
Max Shinobi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Stoltfus's corner calls for a 1-2. Stoltfus obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Stoltfus swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Shinobi counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stoltfus's knee momentarily.
Stoltfus shoots in but Shinobi avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Stoltfus wants to work for an arm triangle but Shinobi is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Stoltfus thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Shinobi's head.
Shinobi is refusing to be controlled, as Stoltfus sits in half guard.
Shinobi is trying to get back to full guard.
Shinobi is trying to maintain the position but Stoltfus is very close to passing his half guard.

Stoltfus maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Shinobi could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Stoltfus has cracked it and Shinobi is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Stoltfus!
