Cruz comes to the cage accompanied by Only For The Weak. Rios is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Forever. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios misses with a low kick.
Rios closes the distance looking to clinch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Rios swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cruz counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Rios doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cruz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Rios takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Rios looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rios takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Whack! Cruz lands a heavy head kick that drops Rios. The ref tackles Cruz to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Rios was done.
