Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meshkov shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Meshkov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Belfort knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Meshkov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Belfort defends it well.
Meshkov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Meshkov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Belfort with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Meshkov thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Meshkov in particular looking to stall.
Belfort scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Meshkov manages to mount him!

A big strike lands for Meshkov! That's really hurt Belfort and he's turned his back - Meshkov keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Meshkov jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
