Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jesus Risen!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nut lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Risen backs up against the ropes.


It looks like Jesus Risen has been cut.
Nut misses with a series of wild punches.

and Risen counters with a takedown into side control.
Risen lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Nut down.

Risen working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Risen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nut is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Risen has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Nut is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Risen yanks on the arm and Nut is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Risen.
