Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Fridman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fridman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kill kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos on the wrong end of a nice hook.
A big left from Fridman misses.
Fridman swings for the body but Santos moves out of range.
Fridman throws a combination that misses
and Santos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fridman wants to land a leg kick but Santos is out of range.
Good leg kick by Fridman there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fridman lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Dos Santos has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fridman throws a series of punches but Santos avoids them all with ease.
Santos misses with a lunging right hand
and Fridman counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Fridman throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Santos is breathing heavily.
Fridman lands a slapping body shot.
Santos glances at the clock... BAM! Fridman nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Santos crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Santos is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alex Fridman!
