The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masters connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lector. Lector circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Masters scores with a jab to the body.
Lector takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lector fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Masters scores with a nice head shot.
Masters lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lector backs up against the cage.
Lector takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lector tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Masters counters with a straight right hand.
Masters lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lector is defended easily by Masters.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryant Lector. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lector misses with a takedown attempt - Masters sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Masters scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Lector needs to keep his hands up - Masters had a free shot at his head there.
Lector takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Lector shoots and misses
and Masters counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Lector! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
