Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brian Braida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaiser Soze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Braida might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Here I am. Kaiser Soze has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braida fails with a takedown attempt.
Braida shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Soze's guard.
Braida lands a couple of elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Soze jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Braida is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Braida and Soze has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Soze misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
