Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luigi Calvante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chubby Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luigi Calvante could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Chubby Johnson's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Luigi Calvante!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chubby Johnson!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calvante checks a low kick from Johnson.
Johnson misses with a double jab
and Calvante counters with a stiff right hand.
Johnson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Calvante counters with a single leg into guard. Johnson didn't expect that.
Calvante stands and throws Johnson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Calvante could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Johnson wants to get back to his feet.

Calvante tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Calvante has an Americana. Johnson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Calvante is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Calvante hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
