PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Domenic Gazza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Bosch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gazza comes into the arena with National Anthem of Italy blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gazza shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bosch pinned against the cage. Bosch gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Gazza counters with a takedown into side control.
Bosch is not content to let Gazza control the position.
Bosch parries the strikes from Gazza easily there. Gazza is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bosch to escape.

Gazza seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Gazza throws a hook to the side of Bosch's head but Bosch sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gazza, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
