Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Des all (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Kottusch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Des all has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Des all!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tim Kottusch!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kottusch tries a head kick but it misses.
all moves out of range of the body kick.

all feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
all tries to free his leg and advance position but Kottusch is retaining full guard.
Kottusch looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
all trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Kottusch escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. all gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

all lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
all preventing the sweep.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Kottusch throws a sloppy head kick and all moves out of range easily.
A lazy left from Kottusch finds it's target.
all fails with a takedown attempt.

Kottusch shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kottusch showed some decent athleticism there.

Kottusch tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
all wants to get back to full guard.
Kottusch perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

It looks like Kottusch is going to stand back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kottusch slows the pace down in half guard.
Kottusch looks gassed!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
all tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kottusch swivels and escapes.

Kottusch feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
all looking for a sweep. Not yet all, not yet.
Kottusch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with all. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
all keeping moving, preventing Kottusch from controlling successfully.

Kottusch throws a jab when all was well out of range.
all showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kottusch.
all fails to land the takedown.
all avoids the head kick by Kottusch.
Kottusch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
all changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kottusch tries to avoid it but all manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kottusch to the ground. Kottusch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tim Kottusch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
all fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Des all. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
all shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Kottusch counters with a nice double leg into side control. all won't be happy with that.

Kottusch decides to stand back up. Kottusch steps back and let's all get back to his feet.
all takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kottusch throws a quick head kick that skims the top of all's head.

Kottusch tries a head kick but it misses.
all shoots in but no luck this time.
all looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kottusch is fending him off so far but all persists. Nope, Kottusch circles away and we're back to standing.
Kottusch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

all drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kottusch looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kottusch is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and all dives into side control.

all is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kottusch has escaped the position, nice work there.

all thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kottusch is wriggling around trying to escape but all has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Kottusch taps out and all picks up the big win! Great work there by all!
