Labayen looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Thompson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Thompson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Labayen manages to get himself to full guard.

Thompson postures up in Labayen's guard and throws a big left but Labayen blocks it.
Labayen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Thompson is controlling him.

Thompson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Labayen doesn't defend quickly enough and Thompson has managed to lock this one up! Can Labayen escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Thompson on a fantastic submission victory.
