Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Schim Fairbain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Thorne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Thorne gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Fairbain counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Dan Thorne has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fairbain pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Thorne back to the cage. Fairbain follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Fairbain really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fairbain lands a nice hook to Thorne's body. Thorne takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Schim Fairbain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Dan Thorne's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Thorne chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fairbain can pounce on him.

Fairbain is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Thorne takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Fairbain fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Thorne looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fairbain lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Thorne at a distance.
Fairbain is looking to wear down Thorne with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
