Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ichigo Kurosagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ichigo Kurosagi had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ichigo Kurosagi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Silver!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kurosagi's hands.

Kurosagi looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Silver looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kurosagi is one step ahead there.
Silver is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kurosagi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Silver working for a triangle but Kurosagi defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kurosagi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kurosagi works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Silver tries to roll over but Kurosagi keeps him under control.
Kurosagi is pressing down on Silver's thigh, looking to free his foot. Silver is holding on for now.
Silver really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kurosagi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kurosagi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silver is just riding it out for now. Kurosagi eventually gives up the hold.

Kurosagi is trying to work for a kimura but Silver is defending well.
Silver wants to control but Kurosagi is keeping busy.
Silver landing small, sideways elbows.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Horrible takedown by Kurosagi or perhaps it was just good defense by Silver which made him look bad.

Silver closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Silver lands in his opponent's guard.
Kurosagi is breathing heavily.

Kurosagi looking for a sweep. Not yet Kurosagi, not yet.
Silver sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kurosagi's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kurosagi moves into full guard.

Silver is sitting in close to Kurosagi's body. Kurosagi has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Silver is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Silver is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kurosagi.
