The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mondo misses with a takedown
and Puckerman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mondo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mondo closes the distance looking to clinch
and Puckerman counters with a leg kick.
Mondo throws a head kick but Puckerman moves out of range.

Puckerman lands a left and a right that send Mondo crashing to the mat, dazed. Puckerman thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Mondoisabuttface Mondo has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
An inside leg kick lands from Puckerman.
Mondo is breathing heavily.
Puckerman drops Mondo with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Mondo! Puckerman dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
