The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hibiki tries to clinch but Castillo moves away
letting Castillo counter with a right hand.
Hibiki darts in trying to clinch
and Castillo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hibiki shoots and misses
enabling Castillo to counter with a crisp jab.

Castillo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hibiki sprawls well initially but Castillo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Hibiki is rocked!
Castillo working over Hibiki with some ground and pound. Hibiki looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Hibiki is still in real trouble! Can Castillo finish him?
Castillo lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Hibiki quite badly. Hibiki pulls Castillo in close trying to recover. Castillo postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Hibiki on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Hibiki doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kiko Castillo!
