Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trent Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mad Max (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Max has chosen this is ur destiny as his entrance music. The key to victory for Trent Morrow has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Max fails with the takedown
and Morrow counters with an outside leg kick.
Morrow throws a leg kick

and Max counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Max.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Max stopping the sweep attempt from Morrow.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Morrow looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Max passes into half guard.
Max moves nicely into side control.
Max looks up at the clock and then as Morrow takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Max smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Morrow throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Max gets tackled into the cage by Morrow. Morrow maintains the clinch.

Max escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A clash of legs there as Max blocks the low kick.
Morrow moves to clinch but Max breaks away

Max is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Morrow moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Morrow wants to slow Max down by chopping away at his legs.
Morrow tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Max decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Morrow's guard.
Max looking to sit in guard and control but Morrow gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Morrow wants to sweep here but Max controlling him for the moment.

Mad Max showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Max tries to score a power double leg takedown but Morrow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Max somewhat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Morrow enables Max to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Morrow manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Max is just content to waste time from the top position. Morrow takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Max won't allow Morrow to sweep him here.

Mad Max comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Max winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
