Shogun throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Requina connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Shogun misses with an uppercut
and Requina counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Requina looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Shogun shoots and misses
and Requina counters with a left to the body.
Shogun throws a poor cross that misses
and Requina counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Mauricio Shogun has been cut.
Shogun is breathing heavily.

Requina dances in with a quick combination. Shogun is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Requina snaps Shogun's head back. Shogun stumbles backwards against the cage. Requina steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Shogun's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Shogun just didn't come prepared.
