PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Brutus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and manuel Vazques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brutus comes into the arena with ladies and gentleman blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vazques throws a series of punches but Brutus moves out of range.

Brutus shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Vazques's guard.
Brutus stays in close to Vazques's body and controls the position.
Brutus trying to control the position from guard on top but Vazques is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Vazques keeping full guard, as Brutus tries to pass.
Brutus wants to control from the top but Vazques keeps moving.
Brutus passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Vazques is trying to escape the position but Brutus is controlling the position.
Vazques really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brutus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Vazques is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Vazques is trying to control Brutus's posture but Brutus avoids it.
Vazques is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Brutus asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Brutus works to advance to full mount. Vazques defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

manuel Vazques's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at manuel Vazques's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
