Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phil The Phantom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Phantom comes to the cage accompanied by Super Freak. Ronald Wright has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phil The Phantom!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronald Wright!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Franklyn Lucas and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Phantom fails to land the takedown.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The Phantom is pushing down on Wright's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wright is fighting to maintain full guard but The Phantom has managed to sneak the leg through.

Wright lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt The Phantom or not.

The Phantom dives in and grabs Wright's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wright pushes down on The Phantom's head and hops out.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wright lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and The Phantom has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from The Phantom and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The Phantom manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wright manages to get himself to full guard.

Wright had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. The Phantom defends it easily.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Phil The Phantom will probably get the nod.
