The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lener rushes Thompson and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Thompson has Lener pressed against the ropes, preventing Lener from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Lener tries to break the clinch but Thompson is controlling the position.

Lener has Thompson pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Thompson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Thompson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Thompson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lener's waist but Lener gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thompson off to one side.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Lener. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Lener jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Thompson walks away with a smile on his face. Lener gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
