Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Magomed Kharitonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Flinstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Magomed Kharitonov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Flinstone!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharitonov connects with a body shot.
Kharitonov misses with a wild combination.
Flinstone shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kharitonov as he avoids it easily.
Kharitonov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Flinstone moves away from the strike by Kharitonov.
Flinstone is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kharitonov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Flinstone slips a straight right by Kharitonov.
Kharitonov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Magomed Kharitonov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flinstone shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kharitonov sprawls well. Kharitonov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Flinstone gets slowly back to his feet.

Kharitonov is looking for a kimura but Flinstone is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kharitonov to get the leverage.
Flinstone is pressing down on Kharitonov's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Kharitonov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kharitonov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kharitonov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Flinstone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kharitonov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Flinstone throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Flinstone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kharitonov but Kharitonov pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Flinstone wants to stand but Kharitonov has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Flinstone trying to control the position from guard on top but Kharitonov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kharitonov connects with a nice short shot to Flinstone's temple.

That was a close second round but I would say that Magomed Kharitonov will probably get the nod.

Flinstone uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kharitonov.

Kharitonov shoots in for a takedown but Flinstone shows good takedown defense.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kharitonov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Flinstone throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kharitonov's head.

Flinstone forces Kharitonov back against the ropes and clinches.

Kharitonov wants the takedown. Flinstone is fighting it off but Kharitonov persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Flinstone's guard against the ropes.

Kharitonov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kharitonov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kharitonov is looking to take a break and control but Flinstone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Flinstone is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kharitonov off and has taken his back!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kharitonov staying busy and making it hard for Flinstone to control.
Kharitonov just trying to survive but Flinstone is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Kharitonov turns into Flinstone and is now in his guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Kharitonov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Flinstone is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Flinstone has escaped and now he's on top!

Kharitonov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Flinstone defends it easily.

Kharitonov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Kharitonov throws his legs up looking for a submission but Flinstone uses it to pass to side control.

Flinstone is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Kharitonov looks calm but he's in trouble here. Flinstone gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Kharitonov is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Flinstone lets go of the hold and Kharitonov can pop his arm back in it's socket.
