Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hekla Fengdu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fengdu's entrance music is Get Naked. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper misses with a few strikes there.
Fengdu throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

and Cooper counters with a series of strikes that sends Fengdu to the canvas! Cooper follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cooper pushes Fengdu off looking to stand but Fengdu dives back in and keeps control.
Fengdu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cooper keeps working.

Hekla Fengdu has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Fengdu lands with a kick to the ribs.
Fengdu throws a quick inside leg kick.
Cooper throws a nice looking combination but Fengdu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cooper steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Fengdu. That one must have hurt.
Hekla Fengdu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fengdu looks to land a right hand but Cooper moved out of range.
Cooper takes a kick to the side of the head.

and Cooper counters with a left and a right that stings Fengdu.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Cooper counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Fengdu!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Cooper walks forward, straight into a front kick from Fengdu.
Fengdu lands with a kick to the temple. Cooper shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Cooper decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Cooper working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Fengdu's thigh. Fengdu counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Cooperis looking to pass into half guard but Fengdu pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Fengdu is in guard.

Fengdu is standing up over Cooper. Cooper looks to escape but Fengdu dives into side control.
Cooper tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Fengdu wants to control the pace but Cooper is squirming around nicely.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Fengdu content just to control the position here.
Cooper wants to try and get back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fengdu looks to land a combination but Cooper avoids it well.
Cooper misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fengdu feints and then cracks Cooper's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cooper down.

Cooper lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fengdu circles away quickly and effectively.

and Fengdu counters with a nice body kick.
Cooper walks forward, straight into a front kick from Fengdu.
Fengdu throws a head kick that Cooper semi-blocks.
It looks like Adam Cooper has been cut.

Fengdu explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
